I am the Artist of the Month at the Mendel Art Gallery Gift Shop in Saskatoon. Smaller wall reliefs, small figures (some from The Meeting Place), as well as one-of-a-kind wall clocks are available until the end April 2003.

Added a new gallery, 2002 Paintings and Sculpture. This gallery includes, among other works, a group of 16 small figurative sculptures titled The Meeting Place.

Added a studio visit area to the art section of the site. This new area shows what I'm working on or have recently worked on in my studio.

My exhibition, Between Frozen Sky and Burning Waters opens with La Soiree des Masques by Sylvie Lavallee, at the Saskatchewan Craft Gallery on March 1, 2002 and runs until April 14, 2002. The reception is from 7:00-9:00pm on March 1. My work in the show will include some of the pieces in the 2001 Paintings and Studio areas of this web site.

I was awarded a Visual Arts Individual Assistance Creative C Grant by the Saskatchewan Arts Board, to create a series of free standing wooden sculptures.

Added new galleries of painted relief carvings: one for each year of 2001 (10 images), 2000 (5 images), 1999 (19 images) and 1998 (19 images).

Added two new galleries: Lunar Threads is a series of 6 digital images from 1997 which have not been shown online previously. Ghost Trees is a new digital series which consists of 4 images.
Added descriptive text to the galleries.
Added bio, curriculum vitae and artist statement.

I received a Production & Marketing Assistance Grant from the Saskatchewan Craft Council. Yay! I get to buy new tools. This grant program is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan's Cultural Industries Development Fund.
